Eimer 1874, BHM 3868, Obverse: Busts left, conjoined and draped, Alexandra crowned IN HONOUR OF THE VISIT OF THEIR MAJESTIES KING EDWARD VII AND QUEEN ALEXANDRA TO THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF LONDON 25.OCT. 1902. Reverse: Londonia presents a welcoming address to the King and Queen seated, right, upon a dais. To the left, a ribbon inscribed CIVIVM AMOR ET FIDES and to right, a fanfare blown by Fame, beyond, a facade of the Guildhall, In Exergue: A sceptre and mace, A/UNC with minor cabinet friction, in the Corporation of the City of London box with lettering on the lid, only 300 issued

Medals and n Reception, Guildhall, London 1886 a 2-medal set both 77mm diameter in bronze by Elton & Co. Eimer 1726, BHM 3214, Welch 21, Obverse: A mantle decorated with the Shield, crowned, from which hang three Colonial shields upon crossed flags, PEACE UNITY CONCORD on a ribbon below. TO COMMEMORATE THE COLONIAL & INDIAN RECEPTION AT THE GUILDHALL . LONDON 1886. Reverse: A detailed interior view of the Guildhall . In Exergue: City shield and motto, traces of a small spot in the obverse field of one medal, otherwise UNC in the original Corporation of the 2-medal box with lettering on the lid, the 2-medal sets seldom offered. BHM states that the Court of Common Council passed a resolution that in view of the approaching visit of our Colonial and Indian brethren to this country, it is expedient that this Corporation do recognise the occasion, and that a special d committee be appointed to consider and report as to the best mr of doing this, thereby cementing the bond of union between this country and her Colonies and her Indian ". As a result a was held at St. Paul's and a reception and ball held at the Guildhall. There were 4500 guests
