Reverse: a semi-circular row of buildings, CRESCENT and 1796 below, Edge BUXTON TOKEN and engrailed, DH3. A/UNC with traces of lustre with prooflike fields, and scarce, especially in this high grade. Note: the DH3 variety evolved because the very rare DH1 undated reverse die broke after only 6 impressions were taken (see illustration showing an intermediate die state in Dalton & Hamer Page 25), then when the die was used with the revised obverse die, that too broke after 27-30 impressions.
