Some interesting 1700's items such as a BritishColonialGeorge III period State Lottery ticket 1776 and a Cleo bury Mortimer Bewbley Old Bank sight note unissued remainder circa 1796 as advised by Forster, Lubbock, Bosanquets & Co. bankers and watermarked upside down with the Royal cypher and the date 1796 also has 2 Revenue embossed stamps. Philatelic Australian Tasmania Inland Revenue Beer Duty Stamps (2) 12 shillings on 9 shillings (One Barrel) green and 18 shillings on 18 shillings (One Hogshead) dark brown/black, both stamped "The Cascade Brewery Co. Limited" used, 1901. India a part of a Fiscal Revenue 2 Annas Tax Revenue paper from the Victorian period and a Princely States Bhopal Fiscal 8 Annas dated 17th February 1900, red and black. An Iraqi Safe Conduct Pass in Arabic and with an illustration of 25 dinar note on obverse. Together with many more other issues from Europe including some Austrian and German Not geld, Asia, Turkey (OttomanEmpire), The Middle East, some large sized issues and World War II period and Military notes. The lot includes a fantasy issue US 1 million dollars and some modern contemporary copies

Comprising scarce issues such as the Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation 5 DollarsPick 180a dated 14th December 1957 and bearing the serial number J/H 388886, and the note in brown on multicolour and an always attractive Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. design watermarked with a helmeted warrior and value underneath. Australia Presentation sets (3), The 25th Anniversary Banknote Set 1991, one of the most spectacular presentations ever issued, this leather bound 8 note set was produced to mark the anniversary of the introduction of decimal currency on February 14th 1966. The notes came from the archives at Note Printing Australia (NPA) and consisted of the last 800 10 shilling, 1 pound, 5 pounds and 10 pounds issues coupled with the first issue of the 1 dollar, 2 dollars, 10 dollars and 20 dollars notes. All the notes have the last 3 digits of the serial number in common while the 10 shillings and 5 pounds have fully matching serial numbers. This set is number 134 of 800. Triple Anniversary Banknote Set 1994, complementing the previous set, this premium banknote set was issued in 1994. The 800 issued leather folders each contained three banknotes which were reserved from the initial printing of the paper 5 dollars, 50 dollars and 100 dollars. Each set was individually numbered with each note having fully matching serial numbers, this set is number 134 of 800, matching the number of the set above. Presentation set of Australia's First Polymer notes 1996, Australian polymer note portfolio commemorating the world's first series of circulating polymer notes 1996, consisting of 5 dollars, 10 dollars, 20 dollars, 50 dollars and 100 dollars, the notes in this set have matching serial numbers and bear a common prefix of '00' followed by the 2 digits '96' representing the year of issue, each note is specially overprinted with the notes first year of issue, this set is number 134 of 1000, again matching the number of the 2 sets above. Very rare to see the 3 sets together and especially rare to see them all with the same issue number 134. A unique opportunity to acquire all three sets.
World (18), Portugal 5000 Reis (War of the 2 brothers) dated 1798, Australia 1 Dollar issued 1938 signed Sheehan & MacFarlane (scarcer green signature), Belize 1 & 2 Dollars dated 1st January 1976, portrait Queen Elizabeth at right, Cuba (6), 1, 5 and 10 Pesos date range 1969 - 1987, all SPECIMEN notes, Austria 1000 Kronen(2), one with Slovenian stamp and overprint, the other with Slovenian stamp and Croatian overprint, Austria/Hungary 10 Kreuzer, Bezirk Graslitz gutschein 10 Kronen dated 1918, 2 local/promotional notes from Hungary and 2 labels from the top of a brick of USA5 Dollars and 20 Dollars series 1981 issued in San Francisco, these both stuck to a piece of plywood, a very interesting and unusual collection well worth viewing
