s First Period Note B245 Unthreaded issue dated 18th June 1938 serial number 59/O 45716 LONDON branch issue, GVF - about EF damped liquid staining otherwise very well preserved and an Exceptionally Rare high denomination genuine early Pre-war issue. These high denomination Britannia medallion White notes were rarely seen by the public, if at all, and they were mostly used for inner bank transactions at the time. Highly sought after and rarely seen in modern days, especially in a well preserved state, these notes have a very limited number of survivors left and are a fabulous addition to any fine British .
