British Military Authority (3) a mixed grade average VF - GVF trio of the 10 Shillings Pick M5 ND 1943 (3) serial numbers 20C 649152, 03K 392048 and 03K 108887. Each note in Blue on lilac and olive underprint featuring a Crown with lion on top at right and the reverse grey on purple/green. Watermarked with a partially helmeted Athena bust facing left. These notes were used by British troops in Tripolitania, North Africa introduced in 23rd January 1943 and withdrawn 15th September 1943. Rarity index of 4 out of 7 in T.F.A. Van Elpmt's "British Military Authority Occupation Currency 1942-56 Europe and North Africa"
