Half Sovereign 1989 500th Anniversary of the First Gold Sovereign S.SB3 Gold Proof, the obverse with very minor hairlines, otherwise FDC and retaining full brilliance, uncased in capsule, no box or certificate
Halfcrown 1677 VICESIMO NONO edge, ESC 479, Bull 475,EF or near so with touches of gold, blue and green tone, a well struck and most pleasing example of the Fourth Bust portrait, light scattered haymarking barely detracts, all Charles II Halfcrown rare and desirable in all grades VF and above
Halfcrown 1685 PRIMO edge, ESC 493, Bull 748, NVF/Good Fine, the obverse with a series of fine hairlines in front of the bust conceals some old scratches
Halfcrown 1686 First Bust, SECVNDO edge ESC 76, Bull 740 Good Fine the obverse with some thin scratches on the King's cheek, and an uneven grey tone, the reverse with some minor haymarking, rated R2 by Bull
Halfcrown 1689 Second Shield, Caul only frosted, with pearls, ESC 510, Bull 839, GVF with some lightly haymarking, the reverse with a thin scratch below the shield
Halfcrown 1693 Stop after HI moved to before REX, the Q in QVINTO appear as an O (Q missing it's tail) ESC 519, Bull 860, Good Fine with some light haymarking, the obverse with some light scratches to the high points
Halfcrown 1698 DECIMO edge ESC 554, Bull 1034 EF with some minor adjustment lines and light haymarking, an attractive underlying blue/green tone further enhances the eye appeal
Halfcrown 1720 20 over 17, only faint traces of the overdate are visible under the 0, Roses and PlumesESC 590, Bull 1555 NVF/VF with some light haymarking, the reverse possibly lightly cleaned at some time

Halfcrown 1817 Small Head ESC 618, Bull 2096 UNC with original mint lustre, a hint of golden toning further enhances the considerable eye appeal of this piece, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 80
Halfcrown 1840 ESC 673, Bull 2715 GVF the obverse with some contact marks once cleaned, now with a colourful artificial tone. Halfcrowns of 1839 and 1840 are the only dates with W.W on the truncation and given the rarity of the 1839 coin, the 1840 is always a popular type coin
Halfcrown 1844 44 with upper serifs, ESC 677, Bull 2720, UNC with green and gold toning, the reverse well struck with the harp crisply struck, normally a notorious weak point on this series; an array of different colours on the reverse further accentuate the superb eye appeal of this piece, A choice example that would enhance any top quality Halfcrown collection
Halfcrown 1896 ESC 730, Bull 2782, Davies 668 dies 2A, the reverse with the long border teeth as on the 1893-1895 issues, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 75, by far the scarcer of the two types
Halfcrown 1903 ESC 748, Bull 3569 EF/GEF, NGC UNC Details CLEANED. Many dealers claim the 1903 Halfcrown is harder to find in high grade than the 1905 and our results database does not contradict this theory
Halfcrown 1905 ESC 750, Bull 3571 NGC UNC Details obverse cleaned, Rare in this choice grade and the key date in the series. If we were offering this coin raw we would describe it AU/Unc and lightly toned with some light hairlines, no evidence of cleaning is apparent to us
Halfcrown 1905 ESC 750, Bull 3571, NVF unevenly toned with some contact marks and some hairlines, nevertheless a key date rarity and seldom seen in any grade above Fine
Halfcrown 1905 ESC 750, Bull 3571, Obverse Fine, the reverse very near so and two edge nicks, the I of HONI weak but visible, the P of PENSE just visible, the key date in the series and a presentable example
Halfcrown 1906 ESC 751, Bull 3572, UNC or very near so and lustrous with some contact marks, displaying a beautiful gold, blue and magenta toning in places, an extremely eye-catching example, Edward VII Halfcrowns always desirable in high grades
Halfcrown 1916 ESC 763, Bull 3715 UNC with practically full mint lustre, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 80, this series very difficult to find in grades 80 and above, as many are found with weak strikes and/or heavily bagmarked, of 37 examples thus far recorded by LCGS, only four have graded higher
Halfcrown 1930 ESC 779 NGC UNC Details Obverse cleaned. To us this looks like a Choice piece with no evidence of having been cleaned. A key date rarity in very high grade
