Shilling 1741 Roses 41 over 39 as ESC 1202A rated R5 by ESC, also with small garter star on reverse, this normally only seen on the 1739 Shilling, VF toned
Shilling 1826 with 6 over 2 in the date ESC 1257A and rarity 3 UNC with a pleasing grey tone with a hint of gold, some fine light scratches obverse field have resulted in the coin which has been graded as UNC by CGS and is in their holder with a Yellow Ticket which means the coins has been rejected for a numerical grade owing to the scratches but authenticated as the rare overdate type and graded as UNC with scratches, listed as simply Extremely Rare by Spink with no price given
Shilling 1839 No WW on truncation, as ESC 1283 but second A in BRITANNIAR unbarred with no left base serif, also the T in VICT and the F in F:D: have no bases, unusual, , VF and darkly toned, we have only previously seen one other example, this an UNC example in our December 2013 Auction which realised £877 inclusive of buyers premium
