Sovereign to Halfpenny - The Queen Elizabeth II Last British Coins of the Pre-Decimal Age, a 9-coin set comprising Sovereign 1968 Marsh 306, S.4125 UNC with some light contact marks and a small rim nick, and Halfcrown to Halfpenny 1970 Proofs these UNC to nFDC with some hairlines, in the Braford Exchange box of issue with their booklet-style certificate
Sovereign 1968 Miss-strike MINT ERROR, S.4125 UNC, the Obverse with a large minting flaw, having a plain area around 2mm x 5mm from behind the Queen's ear to just to the right of the ribbon tie in width, and from the lower part of the hair to halfway up the wreath, shaped almost like a number 6. A most unusual error. This type of error very seldom seen on any gold coinage
