Penny 1903 Open 3 Freeman 158A dies 1+B GVF for wear, the obverse with a striking flaw on the King's face, the reverse with a scuff on the shield, nevertheless, by some distance the finest example we have handled, indeed these usually come up in VG grade (our LCA auction archive shows 9 examples since 2003, all in VG grade, and realising up to £100 hammer price) very seldom encountered better than VG and quite possibly one of the finest known examples of this type
