Great Britain, A Sears Holdings collection of 37 certificates, Sears Holdings was the vehicle of Sir Charles Clore (1904-79), parent company of Selfridges and British Shoe Corporation. Clore was a major benefactor of the arts, (Clore Gallery at Tate Britain, Turner collection) and of Jewish charities. Certificates in lot are, J Sears & Co.
