The note in brown on light brown and grey underprint and Uniface featuring a panel at left with a thistle motif in the Scotland Royal Arms along with the Great Britain Royal Coat of Arms at bottom and a seal featuring King William II seal on top with motto "DEO FAVENTE 1695", the Bank's Coat of Arms at upper centre flanked by black value panels above a grey medallion at lower centre.
