English Banknotes First issue T3.3 Black Dot in No. Six digit serial issue 1914 serial number F/31 009978, an Exceptionally Rare and very well preserved over a century old note in GVF to about EF with very minor signs of wear and no observable flaws. These were Emergency notes issued just at the brink of World War I - Lord Atterbury, Controller of H.M Stationery Office and Sir John Bradbury, the Secretary to the met at his house and produced this design overnight. These were printed rather rapidly on simple Royal cypher and watermarked postal paper with the use of different numbering machines resulting in many varieties, along with the further increase in productivity by printing extra notes sideways on the sheet's margins resulting in another variety - the sideways watermark. A very pleasing and collectible example

A Fractional Currency P108e 1863 Colby & Spinner. Currency Pick 67 (Criswell T69-561) series 4 Plate G. Pick 378g series of 1928G Clark & Snyder. Obsolete Currency such as the Natchez, Railroad Company dated 3rd April 1839. Bank of Windsor, 5 Dollars circa 1800's or wrongly cut at top and bottom sheet originally of 4 notes now only 2full notes and with parts of the first and the last notes from the sheet showing. Some interesting 1700's items such as a period State Lottery ticket 1776 and a Cleo bury Mortimer Bewbley Old Bank sight note unissued remainder circa 1796 as advised by Forster, Lubbock, Bosanquets & Co. bankers and watermarked upside down with the Royal cypher and the date 1796 also has 2 Revenue embossed stamps. Philatelic n Inland Revenue Beer Duty Stamps (2) 12 s on 9 shillings (One Barrel) green and 1 on 18 shillings (One Hogshead) dark brown/black, both stamped "The Cascade Brewery Co. Limited" used, 1901. a part of a Fiscal Revenue s Tax Revenue paper from the n period and a Bhopal Fiscal 8 Annas dated 17th February 1900, red and black. An i in Arabic and with an illustration of 25 note on obverse. Together with many more other issues from including some n and Not geld, , ( ), The , some large sized issues and World War II period and Military notes. World Banknotes Government of India Pick 14a 1935 serial number 10A 989490 watermark King portrait signature J.W. Kelly titled Controller of the Currency. Green-blue obverse featuring Coin depicting King George V at right and reverse with the serial number and a design featuring the Royal Cypher with a and 1 rupee coin dated 1935. This note printed in and this issue could not be introduced at the time due to the death King George V in January 1936 and it was only accepted to circulate these notes at par with the metallic silver rupee folowing the outbreak of the Second World War and the ensuing commodity scarcity around Silver i.e. this being a unique issuing where notes were released after the death of a monarch and also the only note to feature the serial number on the reverse. World Banknotes Set ND 1953 of Burma Act 1952 (4) comprising looks like Pick 38 unlisted series 5J 000000 Peacock at right obverse & Sailing boat reverse. looks like Pick 39 unlisted series IM 000000 Chinze at right obverse & Woman spinning wheel reverse. looks like Pick 40 unlisted series 1X 000000 Peacock at right obverse & Man riding elephant lifting log reverse. looks like Pick 41 unlisted series 5J 000000 Peacock at centre Chinze at right obverse & Farmer and oxen on reverse. All UNC and single tiny faint stain on each note these however not extending into design. Extremely Rare. With the passage of the Union Bank of Burma Act 1952, the sole right of currency issued was transferred from the Burma Currency Board to a newly created Currency Department of the Union Bank of Burma with effect from 1st July 1952. The Burma Currency Board was abolished and its asset and liabilities were transferred to the Union Bank of Burma. Another important change in the new currency is the conversion to a decimal system. When the Union Bank of Burma took over the ’s responsibilities, a token issue of the bank notes was made on 1st July 1952. The new bank notes had the rupee denominations (1,5,10,100 rupees) that was later connected to kyat. It included peacock water mark. This set has been given to Mr. Sidney , Office of the High Commissioner for the United Kingdom who had been working with the UK & Burma Currency Board at the time and the set had stayed in possession of the family ever since. Comes with the contemporary brown envelope abbreviated at top left O.H.M.S (On His Majesty's Service) and the Royal Cypher G.R. of King at bottom left along with a Burma Currency Board seal proof card. Part of a diplomat's group of Burma coins and notes which was accompanied by the original Burma Currency Board Secretary's compliment slip and note to the original recipient Mr. Sidney Wellington, Office of the High Commissioner for the United Kingdom with this original documentation accompanying the Burma Proof Coin listed in the coin section
