Copper and bronze die varieties (10) Pennies (4) Ornamental Trident, the colon after DEF low and slanting to the right, Fine, Penny 1854 Plain Trident the 4 overstruck, does not appear to be over a 3 as the underlying figure is incomplete, Fine or better, Penny 1967 with missing waves to the left of the lighthouse EF, Penny 1967 struck on a thin flan and weighing only 6.41 grammes Fine, Halfpennies (4) 1723 with the top of the 3 missing and so now resembling a 5, NF/VG, 1855 with traces of an overstrike on the first 5 of the date, the underlying figure unclear VF, 1875 Freeman 321 dies 11+J with signs of die damage in the form of raised dots on the coin VG, Halfpenny 1887 Fine on a spread flan of 29.5mm, Farthings (3) James II Tin issue with copper plug, worn, 1890 GEF with silver colouring and traces of gold tone in the legends, weight 2.9 grammes, 1875 as Freeman 528 dies 3+B with a number 1-shaped flaw between the 8 and 7 of the date. Fine/Near Fine. An interesting group and worthy of further research

USA One Trillion Dollars 2013 TrialPattern in platinum plated copper, 27.91 grammes, Prooflike UNC. Originally produced in 2013 by the American Mint. A US website stated in 2013 'Financial bloggers in the US floated the notion of a Trillion Dollar coin to address the nation's debt problems. A technicality in US law says it's Treasury has special discretion to create platinum coins of any denomination. The US Secretary of the Treasury could then deposit the coin in it's bank account via the Federal Reserve, then afterwards, it could sell bonds to raise money to pay down the debt

Muscat and OmanQuarter Anna AH1311 (1893) as KM#2 an off-metal striking and weighing 7.71 grammes (normally struck in copper) thought to have been struck in India, this example showing small differences to the obverse design, EF. We note we have previously sold a silver example weighing 10.25 grammes that had been tested and realised £3400 hammer price in LCA 158 Lot 1243
Farthing 1750 Peck 890 UNC attractively toned with traces of lustre, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 82, very hard to obtain early coppers in these high grades, this being the finest known of just 5 examples thus far recorded by the LCGS Population Report. Another of the group of choice early Farthings being offered in this sale
Halfpenny 1729 Peck 830 UNC evenly struck and a super example of the Young Head portrait type, slabbed in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 78, formerly part of the Andrew Wayne Collection, sold in London Coins Auction A113 5/6/2006 (Lot 980), this is one of the very early submissions to LCGS (UIN 0000030) and after a further 43,000 coins have been graded, is still the finest recorded example, thus proving the rarity of these early copper pieces.
