Along with Arab Republic of Egypt Currency note Pick 182g signature Aly Loutfy Mahmoud Loutfy (11/1978 - 5/1980) title Minister of Finance series M/46 No. 623464 printer Survey Authority watermark ARE. Along with issues (3) including a pair of 10 s (2) different designs Pick 46b dated 1972 a larger sized note, and the more modern Pick 51e dated 15 June 1999. Along with a Pick 52b dated 19th March 1992 and date position variety to lower right of watermark area. Together with a selection of (5) various denominations of captured currency stamped "Certified Official / Ministry of Defence" consisting of a 1 Dinar Pick 69a dated 1984. Pick 70a dated 1981. 10 Dinars Pick 71a dated 1982. Along with 25 Dinars (2) including the Pick 73a dated 1986 and the Pick 72 dated 1982. A near complete denomination set, these notes were captured by the 1st Armoured division in the n Gulf War. During the attack into Iraq, and the dash across north of Kuwait city, they overran and occupied a number of Iraqi headquarters, installations and advancing 290 kilometres they managed to destroy 3 Iraqi divisions and capturing or destroying more than 4000 Iraqi tanks and armoured vehicles along with capturing several million s of Iraqi currency. The seized currency was sent back to 's Ministry of Defence Management Branch where they were certified and given these hand stamps.

F. McCrindle and manuscript signature for ier, Fine - good Fine and Exceptionally Rare note. Large sized note in blue with an overlaid red guilloche value wording "ONE" panel at centre, The Bank's Coat of Arms at upper centre and 2 statues at lower left and right on obverse. The reverse with a large blue panel. In 1904 a dispute arose in the directorship of Perkins & Bacon printers who were printing the notes up until these issues, which lead to the Bank's concern for the srity of supply of the new notes resulting in the Bank approaching Water low & Sons who were critical of the quality of engraving of Perkins & Bacon and were quickly appointed to engrave and print these new issues.

Sir Ernest Musgrave Harvey was the 17th Chief Cashier which he became on the 6th May 1918 just as the end of World War I was approaching. The inflation caused during the war meant that demand for banknotes increased during Mr Harvey's time in office. Sir Harvey was knighted in 1920 and created a Baronet in 1933, among his other honours which were the CBE, Chavlier of the Legion of Honour and Chavlier of Leopold of Belgium.
