Philatelic n Inland Revenue Beer Duty Stamps (2) 12 s on 9 shillings (One Barrel) green and 1 on 18 shillings (One Hogshead) dark brown/black, both stamped "The Cascade Brewery Co. Limited" used, 1901. a part of a Fiscal Revenue s Tax Revenue paper from the n period and a Bhopal Fiscal 8 Annas dated 17th February 1900, red and black. An i in Arabic and with an illustration of 25 note on obverse. Together with many more other issues from including some n and Not geld, , ( ), The , some large sized issues and World War II period and Military notes. Tokens India, Bombay Duncan, Stratton, & Co. strike Coin. (1905) NEF and scarce. In February 1905, Duncan Stratton & Co. of 9 Marine Street, Bombay, on behalf of H. H. the Nizam of Hyderabad's mint, ordered coin presses from Greenwood and Batley of . These presses, to strike coins of one, half, quarter and eighth rupee (2 annas), were dispatched in February 1906. The manufacturers made dies and struck ‘proving pieces' to test the equipment and to 'prove' the efficiency of the minting presses to the purchasers. Proving pieces for each of the four coin sizes , Half Rupee, and s each bear the same designs. Thomas Green Wood and John Batley established the partnership in 1856. They were electrical Mechanical engineers who specialised in manufacturing small arms and ammion at the Albion Foundry, Leeds. They later moved to the Albion Works, Armley, Leeds, where this proving piece was struck. They supplied coining presses and associated machinery to several foreign governments (firstly; China in 1887: at Tientsin). The Greenbat trade mark was adopted in 1967 and the company later became Greenbat Ltd. in 1973

World Banknotes Bank of Natal 5 s Pick S432 dated 9th June 1862 Pietermaritzburg, Natal and a low number 058, manuscript signatures for Entered William Chapman titled Manager and 2 sets for the Board of Directors, VG and an Exceptionally Rare early note. Uniface in black and with value wording in panel at lower left and bank title at upper centre below an illustration of a farm field with resting cow, windmill, wheat stack and the Bank's monogram in 3 bays of wool. Colony of Natal was a colony in south-eastern Africa proclaimed as such on the 4th May 1843 after the British Government had xed the Boer Republic of Natalia. On the 31st May 1910 it was combined with the other 3 colonies to form the Union of South Africa and it was the smallest of its provinces and very popular with its beaches, mountains and savannah densely populated with big game.
