The banknote in brown on grey underprint and features a crowned portrait of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II facing left on obverse and the reverse displaying an exquisitely designed brown guilloche panel. Printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company Limited London inscribed in small script at lower centre margin and watermarked with lozenge quadrilateral shaped pattern across the paper. Harold T. Rowlands entered Government in 1948 and was appointed Secretary and Commissioner for taxation in 1972.
