Each note in Blue on lilac and olive underprint featuring a Crown with lion on top at right and the reverse grey on purple/green. Watermarked with a partially helmeted Athena bust facing left. These notes were used by British troops in Tripolitania, North Africa introduced in 23rd January 1943 and withdrawn 15th September 1943. Rarity index of 4 out of 7 in T.F.A.
