Guinea 1695 Elephant & Castle S.3459, VG, Ex-Jewellery, an extremely rare 2-year type, with the 1696 coin stated as 'Extremely rare' by the Standard Catalogue. Our archive database stretching back 21 years reveals that this is the first example we have handled. Further research has uncovered a coin offered at Heritage Auctions in January 2024, whose description stated that their coin was the first they had handled, and that NGC had only graded one (their) example. We note also that PCGS have only graded one example, so by statistical analysis alone, proves to be rarer than the Standard Catalogue would suggest, Guinea collectors will certainly be alerted to this rare opportunity to own a coin of this type

China - Republic Mint Error - Mis-Strike One Dollar 1927 Memento with 6-pointed stars, Y#318a.2 a spectacular double striking with around 5mm of the lower half of the coin double struck showing a crescent-shaped portion of additional legend from 3 to 9 o'clock. The reverse therefore has an additional 'OF REPUBLIC OF', the top part of the coin having MEMENTO and the top of the Chinese obverse legend approximately half off the flan. In an NGC holder and graded MS62. We note a triple struck example of this coin sold at Heritage auctions in December 2019 described as PCGS - Genuine, AU-details Environmental Damage for $4560, this coin is of far superior eye appeal and grade, the error also is over a greater area of the coin and the double striking is more bold. A fascinating and incredibly rare error, in a series where minor errors are known, but spectacular pieces such as this must exist in extremely small numbers only.

Florin 1920 Sterling head, I of GEORGIVS points to a space, ESC 939, Bull 3765, Davies 1744 dies 2E, UNC with much original colour and lustre, the obverse with hints of golden tone, few coins with the original colour survive, a superb example of the first year of the half silver type in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 82
Shilling 1716 Roses and PlumesESC 163, Bull 1562 Near Fine with some long scratches on the obverse, only the fourth example we have offered in 20 years. Rated R3 by Bull, the rarity rating fully justified
Florin 1918 ESC 937, Bull 3763, Davies 1741, in an NGC holder and graded MS65 a choice piece, all George V pre-1920 Florins extremely hard to find in choice grades. At the time of writing NGC have graded 86 examples, 4 in MS65 with none finer, also PCGS have only graded 2 example in MS65, thus making this the joint finest known
Florin 1921 ESC 940, Bull 3768 UNC and choice with hints of golden tone, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 82, very few 1920-1922 Florins remain in this original condition, as many adjustments were made to the alloy with varying amounts of nickel, Manganese and zinc used. The 'Dull Finish' experiment was later curtailed, with bright finish coins being produced again from late 1922 onwards
Sixpence 1696C First Bust, Early Harp, Large Crowns ESC 1536, Bull 1268 GVF toned, scarce, our archive database stretching back to 2003 indicates this is only the third example we have offered
