World Banknotes Government Pick 38 dated just nearer the end of World War II 24th June 1945 and serial number L/9 91320. A large sized note and n printing in green on multicoloured underprint with the obverse displaying a portrait of King at left and text at top centre reads "This note is Legal Tender For The Payment of Any Amount". The reverse illustrating Laxapana Water fall at centre. Watermarked Chinze. An attractive GVF with paper still retaining relative crispiness, usual staple holes at left with minor split but this an Exceptionally Rare high denomination note and sought after in any grade by many collectors

The note in dark green on multicoloured underprint with obverse featuring President (Joseph Désiré) Mobutu Sese Seko Nkuku wa za Banga at right and bank monogram at lower left. The reverse with the National Assembly building, Kinshasa. A Thomas print on paper with solid srity thread across middle and watermarked with an Antelope's head, not visible due to cancelation hole. World Banknotes Government Pick 10b dated 20th February 1974 serial number D48235 and bearing the signature of Harold Theodore Rowlands OBE CBE titled Commissioner of Currency who entered Government in 1948 and was appointed Secretary and Commissioner for taxation in 1972. The banknote in brown on grey underprint and features a crowned portrait of H.M. Queen facing left on obverse and the reverse displaying an exquisitely designed brown guilloche panel. Printed by Thomas & Company Limited London inscribed in small script at lower centre margin and watermarked with lozenge quadrilateral shaped pattern across the paper. About UNC
